Non-camel camelids: The best camelids of all

Camelids! But not camel-camels, like dromedary or Bactrian camels. So not Camelini, but Lamini. I'm talkin' 'bout llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas!

First, llamas! Did you know that the Latin species name for llamas is Lama glama? Hahaha, that is ridiculous. Llamas are good pack animals and apparently have banana ears, lol.

Next is alpacas! They are smaller than llamas and have more awesome wool, which makes them look all fluffy-luffy fuzzy-wuzzy.

Now for the guanaco! They are basically the wild counterpart to llamas, and are always brown on top and white on the bottom. Guanaco youngins are called chulengos, which is a super awesome word.

And for last, my favorite - the vicuña! Vicuñas are like little tiny guanacos, how cute! They have the best camelid-wool of all, but since vicuña fleece is so rare and luxurious, it is super expensive; one yard of vicuña wool costs thousands of dollars. Dammmnnn vicuña, you be fancy!

Hurray for camelids!
